Mission Medieval Living, Inc., is a not for profit organization supporting the education of children and adults alike about the history and culture of the Medieval era. Our primary focus is to work with home school families throughout New Mexico. By teaching hands-on crafts, skills and trades, we are hoping that children develop an interest in self-sufficiency – that they are able to make things for themselves, without relying on what commercial manu-facturers produce. Through teaching about the history and culture of the Medieval era, we also hope to emphasize the value of civility – something that is quickly fading from our present day society. While we’re at it, we hope that everyone has a lot of fun – that the activities and classes are enjoyable and produce lasting memories! During this coming year, we will offer classes on chainmail armor making, inkle weaving, archery, Medieval games, and life in Medieval times.
